This policy explains what we collect when you join the waitlist or contact us, why we collect it, and how we use and share it. This is a product draft, not legal advice; we will keep it updated as the product evolves.
What we collect
- Contact: email address, first name, last name, organisation, role, organisation size, primary interest, and source you select.
- Attribution: UTM parameters, referring URL, landing path, locale, and the LW waitlist source tag (e.g., home_hero).
- Security and abuse prevention: Cloudflare Turnstile token and your IP address for short-lived rate limiting.
How we use the data
- To register you on the waitlist and send confirmation emails.
- To prioritise access and understand demand by segment.
- To keep the form and service abuse-resistant (bot detection and rate limiting).
Where it is processed
- Email & contact storage: Resend (contact/segment, email delivery).
- Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile (token validation).
- Application hosting & logs: our application infrastructure (e.g., the platform hosting this Next.js site) where short-lived rate limit entries are held in memory only.
Retention
- Waitlist contacts stay in Resend until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Turnstile tokens are transient and validated server-side only.
- Rate-limit counters are in-memory and expire automatically (default 60 seconds).
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from emails via the link in any message or by contacting us at hello@lucid.works.
- You can request access or deletion of your contact record by emailing us. We will delete your waitlist/contact entry unless we must keep limited records for compliance or abuse prevention.
Security
We use TLS for data in transit and rely on our processors’ security controls (Resend, Cloudflare). We limit what we store and keep rate-limit data ephemeral.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 16. Please do not submit data if you are under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy as features change. We’ll update the effective date above when we do.
